Olsson Company is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Senior Coordinator in Omaha, NE. The role involves implementing safety plans, advising teams on EHS matters, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing workers' compensation. Candidates should have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of OSHA regulations. A Bachelor's degree and 6-10 years of relevant experience are preferred. The position may require overnight travel and is not remote.

Inspired people, amazing designs, and projects with purpose.Job DescriptionAs an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Senior Coordinator, you will implement plans and procedures to achieve the team's objectives to ensure a safe working environment for employees to deliver high-quality projects effectively. You will perform routine EHS assignments according to established guidelines while using knowledge of the organization, processes, and procedures to develop solutions in non-standard situations. You will advise technical teams and leadership on daily EHS matters and provide solutions for complex matters. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, workers compensation management, ability to read, analyze and interpret general business documents, contracts, and technical procedures. Experience in developing and leading environment health and safety training.Proficiency in Office 365 products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) as well as web-based programs.CPR/First Aid certification and OSHA instructor certifications are preferred.Bachelor's degree in safety management, business, or a related area is preferred.Minimum 6-10 years of experience in the safety and/or construction industry.Additional InformationOlsson is a nationally recognized, employee-owned firm specializing in planning and design, engineering, field services, environmental, and technology.
