Summary

This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the production floor, coaching employees, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement. You'll build on an already strong safety culture while partnering with operations, engineering, and plant leadership to improve safety, reduce risk, and ensure regulatory compliance.




Responsibilities

Lead all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programsEnsure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulationsConduct safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, and root cause analysisLead employee safety training and Safety Committee initiativesPartner with Operations and Engineering to identify hazards and improve workplace safetyDrive safety culture, continuous improvement, and plant transformation initiatives


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent manufacturing experience5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong knowledge of OSHA General Industry (29 CFR 1910), environmental compliance, and manufacturing safetyExperience with audits, incident investigations, regulatory compliance, and safety trainingExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills


Preferred: CSP, ASP, CHMM, or CIH certification, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 experience.
