Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Create and facilitate safety training programs for new and existing employees.
Serve as the main point of contact for all safety-related questions and concerns from employees and management.
Investigate and document all workplace incidents, injuries, and near misses, and make recommendations for corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement emergency preparedness plans.
Monitor and track safety metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Maintain and update safety records and documentation.
Conduct environmental assessments and make recommendations for sustainable practices.
Stay current with industry trends and developments in safety and sustainability to continuously improve processes and procedures.
