In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our environmental health and safety program in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, as well as extensive knowledge of health and safety regulatory standards. You should be a team player and be able to take initiative while working with minimal direction. Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage an environmental health and safety program in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Monitor safety and environmental compliance in the workplace and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Conduct safety and environmental audits and inspections and recommend corrective actions.
Develop and administer employee safety training programs.
Investigate incidents and accidents and provide reports of findings.
Create and maintain safety records and documentation.
Ensure safety and environmental equipment is functioning properly and up to date.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Work with management to develop and implement safety initiatives.
Monitor and stay up to date with changing safety and environmental regulations.
Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
