Siemens is hiring an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator in Belmont, WA, Australia. In this role you will:
• Promote the Healthy and Safe @ Siemens approach to the business and support the prevention of environmental harm.
• Advise on schedules and requirements to the tendering team, and coach and mentor the application of Siemens EHS management system framework.
• Undertake project reviews, manage risk management documentation, and apply strong contractor management and Safety in design principles.
• Coordinate incident and hazard report investigations, develop corrective actions, and assist with delivering the internal audit program.
• Support the EHS Manager with Return-to-Work coordination, delivery of EHS strategies, and the Zero tolerance Drug and Alcohol program.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and support the ongoing application of Siemens Mobility 3rd party certified IMS, ISO45001 (OH&S), ISO9001 (Quality), and ISO 14001 (Environmental).

Use your skills to move the world forward.
• Cert 4 or Diploma OH&S or equivalent.
• You have proven experience in EHS, ideally with rail signalling and transport projects.
• Sound knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Legislation.
• ICAM or equivalent Investigation qualification desirable.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, including sound consultation and negotiation skills.
• First Aid and CPR or commitment to achieve.
