Environmental Health and Safety Consultant

Alliance Technical Group is hiring an Environmental Health and Safety Consultant in Sullivan's Island, SC. The role involves providing EHS compliance support, conducting audits, and developing EHS programs across various industries. Candidates should have a relevant degree and 5-10+ years of experience. We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced EHS Consultant to provide strategic and technical support for environmental, health, and safety compliance projects across diverse industries. In this mid- to senior-level role, you will lead or support client engagements focused on regulatory compliance, risk assessments, permitting, audits, and the development and implementation of EHS programs.

Key Responsibilities
• Interpret and apply federal, state, and local EHS regulations (e.g., EPA, OSHA, RCRA, CAA, CWA).
• Conduct EHS compliance audits, site assessments, and risk evaluations.
• Develop and review EHS plans, policies, and training programs.
• Assist clients with environmental permitting and reporting requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and strategic recommendations to ensure regulatory compliance and improve EHS performance.
• Manage multiple projects and maintain client relationships.
• Support business development through proposal writing and client outreach.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health, or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of EHS consulting or related industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of environmental and occupational safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CHMM, CIH, PE) preferred.
