The State of Washington is seeking an Environmental Finance Management Expert to provide strategic budget direction and analysis within the Department of Ecology. We are seeking an experienced program budget manager to join our team, who can provide strategic budget direction and analysis to our program manager and management team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about environmental protection.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic budget direction and analysis to the program manager and management team.
• Manage and monitor budgets for program activities, including the Hazardous Waste Assistance Account.
• Develop estimates of the financial impact of proposed legislation and provide fiscal notes for the program.
• Supervise and mentor a team of contract managers and assign work to a supporting budget analyst.
