Verdantas is excited to invite a passionate Field Technician to join our dynamic team. This hands-on role supports field operations and ensures quality and compliance on various infrastructure projects, all based in our Wilmington, DE office.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Conduct quality control reviews and testing for construction projects

Provide oversight and review on various construction projects, particularly in geotechnical engineering

Perform field observations, testing, and sampling of soil, concrete, masonry, and steel

Interpret project plans, specifications, shop drawings, product data, and RFIs effectively

Complete field documentation promptly, including job safety analysis forms, project reports, and datasheets

Maintain and record testing equipment diligently

Participate in laboratory testing of soils and concrete as needed

Safely operate and maintain company vehicles

What We’re Looking For:

High School Diploma or equivalent education

At least 1 year of experience collecting soil, concrete, groundwater, or other materials

1+ years working in construction environments

Able to work primarily outdoors, with some office work required

Capable of frequently lifting up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 80 lbs, with or without accommodations

Must possess a valid driver's license

Compensation and Benefits:

The starting wage for this position is $20.00 per hour, with final compensation based on experience and qualifications.
