Clean Harbors is seeking an Environmental Field Technician to join our dedicated team. This is a hands-on role that involves hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prioritize health and safety by following established policies and procedures.
• Engage in strenuous physical tasks including lifting and maneuvering heavy equipment.
• Operate light and heavy machinery and use various hand and power tools.
• Properly wear and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work in various environmental conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
• Work in areas that may expose you to hazardous and toxic materials.
• Participate in field sampling activities and assist with instrumentation calibration.
• Safely inspect drums for integrity and compliance with regulations.
• Execute safe loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal compliance regulations.
• Demonstrate safe vehicle operation in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Be available for on-call emergency response on a rotating basis.

Required Qualifications:
• Reliable transportation to work sites.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Agreement to be on-call for emergency situations, which may extend beyond standard hours.
• Pass background check, drug test, and physical examination.
• Comply with OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends.
• Previous experience in relevant labor fields.
