Environmental Field Associate - Full-time / Part-time

Essel is seeking Environmental Field Associates for full-time or part-time roles in Los Angeles, CA. Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience in soil sampling, environmental assessments, and air monitoring. The position involves fieldwork with a pay rate of $25-$30 per hour, including overtime. Applicants must possess a 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and strong communication skills. This is a project-based role requiring the ability to work long shifts.

Requirements

Ideal candidates will have the following:
• Minimum of 1-2 year of general environmental related experience in sampling of air, soil or water
• The Esseler CAN DO attitude is a must
• Must be deadline driven while keeping the interests of the Client & your team in line
• Excellent written and verbal communication, client interaction and organizational skills are a must.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification required
• Environmental Engineering or Science Degree preferred
• Ability to work 12 hour days
• This is a project based position that will run the duration of the project
