Environmental Engineer​/Scientist

WKC Group is seeking an Environmental Engineer/Scientist in Dubai, UAE, with 1-2 years of experience in environmental consultancy. The role involves preparing EIA reports, environmental management plans, and supporting project management tasks. The Role: WKC is offering an opportunity for the role of an Environmental Engineer/Scientist, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in environmental consultancy. The position is based in Dubai, UAE, focusing on supporting WKC’s EIA and environmental permitting services.
Responsibilities:
• Preparation of commercial and technical proposals under the guidance of your line manager.
• Writing EIA reports for projects located in the UAE, including specialist inputs such as marine ecological and waste impact assessments.
• Preparation of Environmental Management Plans (e.g., CEMP and OEMP).
• Supporting your line manager with EIA reports and project management tasks.
• Interpreting marine ecological/environmental baseline survey reports and technical modelling studies for input into EIA reports.Candidate Requirements:
• At least 1-2 years of experience in environmental consultancy with involvement in EIA development.
• Degree or diploma in environmental engineering, environmental science, ecology, or related disciplines.
• Excellent report writing skills for technical reports.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Familiarity with UAE (Federal, Abu Dhabi, Dubai) environmental regulations.
• Ability to interface effectively with clients.
• Attention to detail and meticulous organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
• UAE driving license (if residing in the UAE).
