Job Description
Trinity Consultants is hiring an Environmental Engineering Consultant in Boise, ID. The role involves air quality permitting, modeling, and compliance solutions. Responsibilities include conducting air dispersion modeling, calculating emissions, assembling permit applications, and maintaining client relationships. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or environmental science fields and possess computer literacy. This is a full-time position with no supervisory responsibilities.
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled professional to provide comprehensive air quality permitting, modeling, and compliance solutions to clients in the areas of permitting and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct air dispersion modeling analysis in accordance with project requirements and/or published guidelines.
• Calculate air emissions, determine required control technologies, and document process information to ensure client operations and work practices align with all applicable regulations.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in air pollution control technologies.
• Assemble permit applications, permit amendment applications, standard exemptions, source inventories, and emission fee calculations for submittal to state regulatory agencies for industrial clients.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients, solicit new project work as appropriate, and communicate results of analyses internally and externally in verbal and written form.
• Assist new project engineers with projects and participate in internal training.
• Update client information in internal database in a timely manner.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental/Civil Engineering, and/or related Atmospheric/Environmental Science from four-year college or University.
• Computer literacy, including basic programming, word processing, spreadsheet skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office software package.
