Bharat Ecolabs is hiring a Civil & Environmental Engineer for water treatment projects in Gandhi Nagar, Tamil Nadu. The role requires 2+ years of experience in planning and managing projects like STP, ETP, and ZLD systems. This is a full-time position based on-site.

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil & Environmental Engineer with expertise in planning, execution, and management of water treatment projects, including Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), Fecal Sludge Treatment Plants (FSTP), Leachate Treatment Plants, and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) Systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stakeholder management, interacting with bureaucrats, ministers, and civic bodies, while also ensuring efficient labor management at project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical & Project Execution:
Plan, design, and oversee the execution of STP, ETP, FSTP, Leachate Treatment, and ZLD plants.
Develop Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and other necessary project documentation.
Ensure compliance with CPCB, NGT, UNEP, and other environmental norms.
Implement Io T-based monitoring solutions for real-time performance tracking of water treatment plants.
Source and integrate smart technologies for plant operations and efficiency improvement.
Stakeholder & Regulatory Management:
Engage with government officials, municipal bodies, regulatory authorities, and funding agencies to secure approvals and align projects with national policies.
Secure grants and funding from UNEP and other international environmental organizations for project execution.
Manage on-ground teams, ensuring productivity, adherence to safety protocols, and efficient project delivery.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and technology providers for sourcing high-quality materials and equipment.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Educational Qualification: B. Tech/M. Tech in Civil Engineering/Environmental Engineering or related field.
• BE/BTech: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in water treatment plant planning and execution.
• Diploma: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in the same field.
• MTech : No prior experience required—candidates with a strong academic background and passion for water treatment are encouraged to apply.
Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of STP, ETP, FSTP, Leachate Treatment, and ZLD plant design and execution.
Proficiency in Auto CAD, Civil 3 D, STAAD Pro, GPS-X, Bio Win, and other relevant design software.
Experience in structural and hydraulic design for water treatment systems.
Documentation & Reporting: Ability to prepare DPRs, BOQs, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments.
Funding & Grant Applications: Proven track record of securing funds from international bodies like UNEP, UNIDO, World Bank, and other environmental agencies.
Io T & Smart Monitoring: Hands-on experience in designing and implementing Io T-based monitoring systems for water treatment plants.
Stakeholder Engagement: Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to liaise with government officials, civic bodies, and regulatory agencies.
People Management: Ability to motivate and extract the best performance from on-site laborers and technical teams.

Salary Range:
Offering a salary range of ₹20,000-₹30,000 during the 6-month probation period. Post-probation, the salary will be revised and increased based on performance and experience.
