Job Description

Arconic is seeking an Environmental Engineer Intern in Davenport, IA, to work with their environmental engineering team. The role involves conducting assessments, analyzing data on air, water, and waste management, and collaborating on sustainable initiatives. Interns will assist with compliance, environmental training, and reporting while fostering a culture of sustainability. This is a full-time position with a pay range of $14–23 per hour.

Collect and analyze data related to air, water, and waste management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainable practices and initiatives.
Research and stay up-to-date on relevant environmental regulations and policies.
Help create and maintain environmental reports and documentation.
Participate in the development and implementation of environmental training programs for employees.
Assist in identifying and implementing cost-saving measures related to environmental sustainability.
Assist with the implementation of environmental management systems.
Conduct research and provide recommendations for improving environmental performance.
Support the environmental engineering team in various projects and initiatives.
Foster a culture of sustainability and environmental responsibility within the company.
Communicate and coordinate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders as needed.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the environmental engineering team.
