Overview:

We’re partnering with a fast-growing engineering-focused organization in Lenexa, KS to find a hands-on Environmental/Process Engineer to help develop, optimize, and scale cutting-edge wastewater and stormwater treatment systems. This role is ideal for someone with a technical mindset, a passion for environmental sustainability, and 2+ years of experience in process or environmental engineering.

What You’ll Do:

Support the design and development of advanced water treatment systems

Conduct process modeling, pilot testing, and data analysis

Collaborate cross-functionally on system improvements and troubleshooting

Assist with the scale-up of new technologies from lab to field

Ensure systems meet EPA and local environmental regulations

Prepare SOPs, technical documentation, and regulatory reports

Stay current with environmental trends, tools, and compliance requirements

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

2+ years of experience in process or environmental engineering (water/wastewater a plus)

Familiar with process modeling tools like BioWin or GPS-X

Strong skills in data analysis and report writing

Knowledge of biological, chemical, and physical treatment processes

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Passion for sustainability and continuous improvement
