EnviroScience is seeking an Environmental Emergency Response Manager for its Brentwood, TN office. The role involves responding to emergencies like oil spills, managing client relationships, leading a response team, and conducting environmental assessments. Candidates should have a relevant degree and at least 3 years of experience in emergency response. Strong communication and project management skills are essential, along with a willingness to travel and be on call.

EnviroScience is seeking to add an Emergency Response Manager to our team of highly respected scientists at our Brentwood, Tennessee regional office. Our ideal candidate will take an active role in a fast-paced, multifaceted area environmental response.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties
• Respond to Emergency Responses including train derailments, oil spills, and other emergency responses. Be on call and able to travel to various emergency responses for extended periods of time
• Manage the technical, financial and client relationship aspects of a variety of emergency responses and environmental projects
• Effectively lead, engage and mentor EnviroScience emergency response team members
• Training of emergency response personnel and ensure efficient mobilization of personnel and equipment to emergency responses
• Plan and lead the implementation of environmental site assessments, subsurface investigations, environmental permitting, and multi-media sampling projects.
• Prepare site specific sampling and analysis plans, work plans and data summaries
• Regulatory agency interaction and coordination
• Participate actively in professional organizations and conferences; deliver presentations, and write technical papers.
• Demonstrated ability to complete concurrent assignments in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and stay on schedule.
• Strong communication skills, strong organizational skills, and be self-motivated, thorough, and detailed in their work.
• Work well in a team setting.

Qualifications
• B.S. in Emergency Management, Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science or equivalent experience;
• 3+ years of previous professional experience in emergency response and environmental sciences.
• Experience managing derailments, oil spills, and other emergency responses.
• Excellent technical report writing and communication skills.
• Willingness to be on call and ability to travel to projects as needed.
• Valid U.S. driver s license.
• HAZWOPER.
• CHMM (preferred)
• PMP (preferred)
