Halff is seeking an Electric Transmission Routing Project Manager for its offices in Richardson, TX, Houston, Austin, or Oklahoma City. The role involves managing project budgets, schedules, client interactions, and ensuring quality control in electric transmission line routing studies. Environmental / Electric Transmission Routing Project Manager
Halff has an opening for an Electric Transmission Line Routing Project Manager in our Houston, Austin or Richardson, Texas offices or our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma office. The Electric Transmission Line Routing Project Manager will be responsible for project management, including management of project budgets and schedules, client interaction, quality assurance and quality control, leading and mentoring production staff, and ensuring teamwork and project collaboration occur for successful completion of electric transmission line routing studies and associated environmental assessment documents. The Project Manager will also assist with identifying pursuits and developing proposals.

The ideal candidate will bring strong project experience managing development of alternative routes for proposed electric transmission lines, impacts analyses, and documentation for project compliance with applicable federal and/or state regulations. Candidates should have relevant knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulatory requirements, guidelines and procedures. Experience providing expert testimony for contested case hearings is preferred. Candidates should be able to work with multi-discipline teams in delivering solutions to clients. What you will need:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or related field, from an accredited university; Master's Degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience communicating with clients, regulatory agency staff, and the public
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude, initiative, and ability to work with multi-discipline teams and to manage projects independently
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and ArcGIS
