Job Summary

The Missouri Botanical Garden is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Education Program Coordinator to join our team. This role will play a key part in delivering high-quality environmental education programs to school children, teachers, and the broader community.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and deliver engaging environmental education programs for diverse audiences, focusing on curriculum development, program preparation, and delivery.
• Support youth programs, teacher professional development, volunteer training, school outreach, and site interpretation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure well-coordinated and effective delivery of instruction to meet program goals and objectives.
Requirements
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with school-age children, preferably in an outdoor setting.
• Prior experience teaching or coordinating educational programs is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
