Environmental Design Specialist

Sevee & Maher Engineers, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Design Specialist in Cumberland, ME. The role involves project management, civil engineering design, and permitting for diverse projects. Candidates should have a B.S. in Civil Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and HydroCAD. A Professional Engineer's license is preferred. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Project management, site planning, civil engineering, and design
• Bid and construction services
• Permitting, document preparation, and public presentations

In addition to these responsibilities, the ideal candidate will have:
• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, with 5+ years of experience
• Professional Engineer's license preferred
• Solid civil engineering design experience, including site development, grading plans, stormwater analysis and design, roadway design, utility analysis and design, code research, drafting of technical reports and specifications
• AutoCAD and civil/site design, and HydroCAD software experience necessary
• Experience with local, state, and federal permitting, and effective oral and written communication skills essential
