Environmental Data Scientist

Job Overview:
Berkeley Lab's Climate & Ecosystem Science Division is seeking a researcher to investigate the effects of climate change on mountainous watershed ecosystems. This project aims to understand how these conditions affect ecosystem functions, particularly in forest ecosystems.

The selected candidate will conduct collaborative research using remotely sensed data, field observations, data analysis, modeling, and machine learning. The role involves leading research on climate change impacts, developing and integrating analyses, co-leading field campaigns, authoring papers, and presenting at conferences.
