Job Description
AECOM is currently seeking an Environmental Consultant specialized in Building Certification, to be based at our Madrid office.
The successful candidate will be primarily supporting the existing sustainability services for our multinational and government clients, including Green Building Certification (BREEAM, LEED, ENVISION and other schemes), Sustainability assessments, Carbon footprint calculation, Climate Change assessments, etc.
In addition, the candidate will be exposed to other environmental, and sustainability related projects associated to building certifications such as energy modelling, life cycle analysis, ecological studies, etc.
The role would include:
• Information search, data analysis, documentation review
• Reports preparation
• Communication with the certifying bodies (BRE/ITG/GBC/ISI)
• Clients’ communication and business activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor or Master’s Degree or Degree in Environmental, Agronomical or Forest Engineering, Chemical engineer, Architect, or related fields.
Previous experience in a similar role.
Sustainability certifications (BREEAM/LEED/WELL/ENVISION) is a plus.
Fluent English and Spanish (spoken and written). Other languages will be positively considered.
