A rapidly growing consulting firm is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Consultant to help clients achieve and maintain environmental regulatory compliance. The incumbent will be servicing clients mainly in the manufacturing industry with a focus on stormwater and wastewater management. This is a hybrid role that requires the candidate to reside within the Cincinnati region or be open to relocating. The position will be 70-80% work from home , with a 20-30% expectation of client visits.

The role:
• Prepare NPDES water permit applications and compliance reports for industrial clients
• Develop operational plans and reports such as Stormwater Pollution Prevention (SWPPPs), TRI, SPCC, and Contingency Plans
• Conduct on-site visits and inspections with clients, including delivering training
• Work collaboratively within the regulatory department to provide support for other technical areas of environmental compliance.

The candidate:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related discipline required.
• 5+ years of comprehensive technical experience in environmental permitting and compliance
• Qualified Industrial Storm Water Practitioner (QISP) certification preferred
• Independent and self-driven, able to juggle competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel at least 20% for client site visits
