Environmental Consultant / Inspector Specialist

Job Description:

Join a respected environmental services firm as an Environmental Consultant / Inspector. This field-based position presents a unique opportunity to engage in projects across various sites, with lab support located in San Diego city. We are looking for a passionate and motivated consultant ready for long-term growth and the chance to advance into a senior-level role as current leadership transitions.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct asbestos and lead inspections, testing, and sampling.
• Perform field investigations in both residential and commercial settings.
• Utilize XRF/XRS equipment for lead testing if qualified.
• Prepare comprehensive, compliant reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal lab teams and manage scheduling through CRM.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements:
• CAC or CSST certification required.
• EPA Lead Certification required.
• AHERA license (bonus).
• XRF/XRS experience (bonus).
• Minimum of 2 years of field inspection and sampling experience required.
• Ability to work independently and manage field schedules required.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills required.
• Valid driver's license required.
