Environmental Conservation Assistant

The Missouri Botanical Garden is hiring a part-time Environmental Conservation Assistant for up to 28 hours a week from late May to early August. Responsibilities include supporting educational activities for the Outdoor Youth Corps, collaborating with staff, and assisting with program preparations. This is a part-time position averaging up to 28 hours a week from late May through early August. Interviews will be held from April 14th - April 25th.
• *Responsibilities:**
• Support the development and implementation of educational activities for the Outdoor Youth Corps Summer Crew program.
• Work collaboratively with community program staff to ensure successful program delivery.
• Assist with the preparation of program materials, tools, and food.
• Contribute to green job education, teambuilding, and Outdoor Youth Corps stewardship projects.
• *Requirements:
• Previous experience with Outdoor Youth Corps is preferred.
• Basic understanding of sustainability practices and principles preferred.
• Group leadership and problem-solving experience.
• Strong customer service orientation.
