Job Description

The Missouri Botanical Garden is hiring a part-time Environmental Conservation Assistant for up to 28 hours a week from late May to early August. Responsibilities include supporting educational activities for the Outdoor Youth Corps, collaborating with staff, and assisting with program preparations. Preferred qualifications include experience with Outdoor Youth Corps and knowledge of sustainability. The position offers professional development and flexible scheduling.
• *About the Position:

This is a part-time position averaging up to 28 hours a week from late May through early August. Interviews will be held from April 14th - April 25th.
• *Responsibilities:**
• Support the development and implementation of educational activities for the Outdoor Youth Corps Summer Crew program.
• Work collaboratively with community program staff to ensure successful program delivery.
• Assist with the preparation of program materials, tools, and food.
• Contribute to green job education, teambuilding, and Outdoor Youth Corps stewardship projects.
• *Requirements:

• Previous experience with Outdoor Youth Corps is preferred.
• Basic understanding of sustainability practices and principles preferred.
• Group leadership and problem-solving experience.
• Strong customer service orientation.
