About the role
Join the dynamic team at Babcock Australasia and become the driving force behind our Sustainability Program! As a key player in this role, you'll be entrusted with providing top-notch environmental management support, ensuring compliance, and pushing the boundaries of operational excellence.
Your mission will be to steer projects that revolve around implementing and continuously enhancing the environmental management system, elevating our practices to meet the ISO14001 standards. In this position, you'll be donning the hat of an environmental expert, conducting audits and investigations, and reporting on environmental compliance and performance.
Brace yourself for a series of projects that will define your journey. Orchestrate innovative carbon workshops across all lines of business, working towards the visionary Babcock Group's Plan Zero 40 commitment. Your expertise will also be integral in rolling out other ambitious Group-led commitments, spanning waste management plans, water management strategies, and biodiversity assessments.

Ideally you will have
• Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Sustainability.
• Experience in an environmental advisory position.
• Demonstrated experience in site contractor management including coaching, mentoring and skills development.
• Demonstrated experience in the application of relevant environmental management legislation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance.
