Responsibilities:
• Inspect erosion and sediment control measures at commercial, residential, industrial, and highway construction projects in Colorado Springs, CO and surrounding areas.
• Conduct field investigations, document findings, and write detailed reports.
• Manage accounts, interacting daily with clients and client subcontractors.
• Review and update stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs) for construction sites.
• Perform other scientist/engineer-related work as appropriate to your background and discipline, including NPDES, CERCLA, RCRA, Environmental, Hydrological, and Geotechnical related tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:
• B.S. or B.A. in Civil/Environmental/Agricultural Engineering, Environmental Science, Hydrology, Geology, or related field experience required. Relevant field experience and a demonstrated desire and intellectual capacity may waive degree requirements.
• Strong work ethic, sound technical foundation, and a desire for professional registration as soon as qualified.
• CISEC or CPESC certification or the ability to qualify for testing preferred (not required).
• Basic computer skills, including competency with all Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to incorporate integrity, honesty, and common sense with written regulations, sound science, and each client's unique business model.

Pay: Range from $38,000 to $42,000.00 per year with bonus opportunities
