About The Project

Parklife Metro JV is leading the delivery of the Sydney Metro - Western Sydney Airport project, a landmark transport initiative that will connect St Marys to Bradfield and the new Western Sydney Airport, now under construction. This visionary project, driven by a joint venture between Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens, and Webuild, includes six new stations, 12 state-of-the-art metro trains, advanced rail systems, and a modern stabling and maintenance facility at Orchard Hills.

As the largest public-private partnership (PPP) ever awarded in New South Wales, this $5 billion project will redefine the future of Greater Western Sydney, enhancing connectivity and driving economic growth. The Opportunity

Employed by Webuild, Parklife Metro is seeking an Environmental Advisor to join our team based at Orchard Hills. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced environmental professional to contribute to the success of this landmark infrastructure project.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide environmental support and advice for site operations, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and project-specific requirements.
• Monitor and report on environmental performance, including waste management, air and water quality, and noise control.
• Undertake environmental audits and inspections of construction activities.
• Develop and maintain environmental management plans and procedures.
• Liaise with contractors, stakeholders, and regulators to ensure environmental compliance is maintained across the project.
• Investigate and resolve environmental incidents, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Assist with sustainability initiatives on the project to promote environmentally responsible practices.
• Deliver environmental training to site teams and contractors.
• Prepare regular environmental reporting and documentation to ensure compliance with project and regulatory standards.

Criteria:
• Previous experience as an Environmental Coordinator or Advisor, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of environmental management systems, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with environmental auditing and reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic construction environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and environmental management software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
