Employee will be assigned to the Division of Land Restoration, AML/Design section in either the Charleston Headquarters office or the Fayetteville Regional office. Duties include:
Will be responsible for managing Consultant awarded AML reclamation projects for design. Duties will include involvement in advertising for services, securing services, communication scope of work, fee and contract negotiation, and project management, including project schedule and any change orders, up to construction. Will be responsible for coordination and review of Consultant plans, specifications, permit applications, and invoices submitted for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with rules and regulations. This position is also responsible for approving invoices. Will be required to conduct field visits/reviews of proposed AML reclamation projects prior to award of contract and during design to assure an understanding of the project goals, feasibility to construct proposed plans, and determine if there is a need to add additional features to the project scope. Will be required to attend the pre-bid and pre-construction meetings, serving as a subject matter expert, to explain the project in detail, and answer any questions. Will be responsible for maintaining inventory of AML reclamation projects in DLRNet (ALMNet) database for future reference. Other duties as assigned. Notes:
