Basic Job Functions:
TheEnvironmental Administrator will work with the environmental department and cross-functionally to provide administrative support to the division for all matters pertaining to environmental compliance, environmental management systems, and EHS databases. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to promoting and driving a safe work culture, maintaining EHS systems (ISO 14001) and processes, filing EHS records including but not limited to training, incidents and accidents, inspections, and audits in accordance with company, regulatory requirements, oversee “Nucor store”, timesheet using NOVAtime, and assisting with community outreach activities. This position reports to the Environmental/EHS Manager.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards, at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• Microsoft Office applications- Intermediate level.
• 1 year experience in Manufactoring Administration
Preferred Qualifications:
1.1 yrs experience in environmental compliance or related areas
• 2 yrs experience in Administration roles
