You will work with your local team, as well as your international colleagues, on diverse matters for a broad range of cross-jurisdictional clients.

Environment & Planning

The team advise major corporations and government clients on the full spectrum of ESG and sustainability-related issues. This includes pollution risk management, climate change issues, environmental impact assessments, native title, Indigenous and non-Indigenous heritage issues, land acquisition and land valuation matters.

The Role

Our client's Environment & Planning team are currently seeking junior and senior level lawyers to join their Sydney-based practice. In this role, you will be part of a team known for their excellent culture and mentorship by highly supportive partners.

The firm deal with some of the most significant major projects, meaning this role will see you advising on the legal requirements/industry standards for the Environment & Planning aspects of major infrastructure, resource and property development matters.

Requirements

The successful candidates will have relevant environment & planning experience, as well as a genuine desire to further their career in this area.

In addition, you will:
• have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal as well as people skills;
• have strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills; and
• be looking to become a true specialist in environment & planning.
