Skanska is hiring an Environmental Manager in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves integrating environmental services into business practices, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing project activities related to environmental services. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience. The Environmental Manager is responsible for the integration of environmental services into the business practices and compliance with regulatory requirements and is well versed in environmental compliance. The Environmental Manager oversees responsibilities of all project activities related to environmental services and has direct interaction with EH&S Staff, Superintendents, Project Manager and Project Executive, and will report to a Senior Environmental Manager or Environmental Director.
Environmental Manager Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree – in Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies or closely related field and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Ability to understand and interpret construction documents, permit requirements
Ability to manage Environmental Consultants and Subcontractors
Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD), Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP), Caltrans Water Pollution Control Manager (WPCM). 40 Hour Hazpower training and current 8-hour Refresher or training complying with Tittle 22 CA Code of Regs § 66265.Environmental Manager Benefits of Working at Skanska:
