Job Description

Shirley Parsons is hiring an Environment, Health and Safety Manager in Farnham, Quebec. This full-time, onsite role requires bilingual proficiency in English and French. The EHS Manager will lead EHS activities, conduct training and audits, and maintain ISO standards while promoting a proactive safety culture. Candidates should have over 5 years of EHS experience and a relevant degree. Salary ranges from CA$110K to CA$120K annually.
We have partnered with a leading Commercial Manufacturing client located in Farnham, QC who is seeking to hire an EHS Manager to join their team. This is an onsite, full-time permanent position that requires the candidate to bi-lingual in both English and French. They are seeking a candidate who can establish and implement improvements to their already comprehensive EHS program to further promote the company’s goal of maintaining the highest safety standards.

The Role:
• Assisting and being the on-site lead for all EHS related activities.
• Conducting training, assessments, audits and all investigations.
• Responsible for maintaining ISO standards.
• Pursuing zero work related incidents/injuries/illnesses promoting a proactive behavioural based safety program.

The Candidate:
• 5+ years of experience working professional in EHS.
• Must be fluent in French and English
• Post-secondary degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting, air permitting, hazardous waste management
• Strong interpersonal skills. Strong communicator. Familiarity with all Microsoft Office programs.

Nous avons conclu un partenariat avec un important client du secteur manufacturier commercial situé à Farnham, au Québec, qui souhaite embaucher un responsable SSE pour rejoindre son équipe. Ce poste permanent, à temps plein et sur site exige que le candidat soit bilingue (anglais et français). L'entreprise recherche un candidat capable d'établir et de mettre en œuvre des améliorations à son programme SSE déjà complet afin de contribuer à l'objectif de l'entreprise de maintenir les normes de sécurité les plus élevées.

Le rôle :
• Assister et être le responsable sur site de toutes les activités liées à la SSE.
• Organiser les formations, les évaluations, les audits et toutes les enquêtes.
• Responsable du respect des normes ISO.
• Viser l'objectif de zéro incident/blessure/maladie lié au travail en promouvant un programme de sécurité proactif et axé sur le comportement.

Le candidat :
• Plus de 5 ans d'expérience professionnelle en SSE.
• Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais.
• Diplôme d'études postsecondaires en santé et sécurité au travail ou dans un domaine connexe.
• Connaissance des rapports réglementaires, des permis d'émission de gaz à effet de serre et de la gestion des déchets dangereux.
• Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles. Excellent communicateur. Familiarité avec tous les logiciels Microsoft Office.
