SAVI EHS is hiring an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager for an on-site role at a data center project in Sterling, VA. The position involves managing EHS compliance, conducting inspections, leading incident investigations, and promoting a safety culture. Position Summary

SAVI EHS is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to support a high-profile data center construction project in Sterling, Virginia. This position is for a subcontractor role and requires a professional with strong safety leadership skills, data center construction experience, and solid knowledge of federal and state safety regulations. The ideal candidate will be credentialed (e.g., OSHA 30, OSHA 510, OSHA 500, CHST, CSP, etc.) and committed to maintaining an injury-free workplace.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and enforce Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance across all site operations
• Conduct and document daily EHS inspections and hazard analyses
• Deliver site-specific safety orientations for incoming personnel
• Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Support the project leadership in promoting a strong safety culture
• Review and ensure adherence to EHS plans across all trade contractors
• Monitor leading and lagging indicators to identify trends and prevent future incidents
• Ensure all workers are trained and qualified for their respective scopes of work
• Facilitate regular safety meetings with trade partners and field staff
• Act as the liaison between site operations and the client’s safety team
• Deliver safety training as required and support a positive reinforcement program

Preferred Qualifications
• 5+ years of construction safety experience (data center experience preferred)
• BS or MS in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field
• OSHA 510 and/or OSHA 500 required
• Additional credentials such as CHST, CSP, STSC, ASP, or GSP strongly preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other standard reporting tools
• Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
