Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and oversee our health, safety, and environmental programs in a fast-paced industrial/manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing setting and a strong background in people leadership, risk assessments, incident investigations, regulatory compliance, and training.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the company’s EHS programs to ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and job hazard analyses to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Lead and document incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees and supervisors to foster a safety-first culture.
• Manage and coach a team of safety professionals and collaborate with operational leadership on EHS initiatives.
• Maintain and update safety policies, procedures, and records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the primary contact for external audits, inspections, and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor safety performance metrics and report on trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Health and Safety role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in leading teams and driving EHS initiatives across departments.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, training sessions, and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Certification in CRSP, CHSC, or equivalent (preferred).
