About the Role

Strategic EHS Leadership: Develop, implement, oversee and drive accountability of the division’s EHS strategies, policies, and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, ISO 14001, and other industry standards. Conduct risk assessments and implement proactive measures to minimize hazards.

Safety Training and Development: Design and execute safety training programs that enhance awareness and compliance across all levels of the organization. Continuously assess training effectiveness and make necessary improvements.

Incident Investigation and Reporting: Lead investigations into workplace incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Maintain detailed records and reports on safety performance.

Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans. Serve as the primary contact for injury and incident management, ensuring prompt and effective response.

Continuous Improvement: Utilize data analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety performance.

Leadership and Collaboration: Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse global EHS team. Collaborate with site EHS and operations teams to proactively identify and address EHS risks.

Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Safety & Environmental Management, Chemical, Environmental, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) certification is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of safety management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with multi-site and global operations experience.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of OSHA, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, REACH, VOC, Prop 65, and other relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and drive process improvements.
• Ability to identify, define, analyze, and prioritize opportunities and problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and solve problems efficiently

Pay range and compensation package

This role requires a balance of office and strong manufacturing floor presence. Must be able to stand, walk, and climb as needed, and travel to various sites as required
