Reports To: Director, HSE, Risk & Facilities

Job Type: Contract, 12-month project anticipated

Schedule: full time hours, day shift

Target Pay Rate: $32-34/hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking an EHS Specialist to develop and implement robust environmental, health, and safety programs for a new manufacturing facility. This role focuses on ensuring compliance and continuous improvement during construction and operational phases.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and enhance work processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Monitor construction activities to meet OSHA standards.

Assist with regulatory inspections and manage the permitting process.

Develop and track action plans and KPIs for EHS initiatives.

Investigate incidents and collaborate on corrective actions.

Promote proactive safety measures and conduct training sessions.

Provide regular updates to management and participate in team meetings.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or Safety Management.

Experience: 2+ years in EHS roles within manufacturing or construction; experience in Life Sciences or robotics preferred.

Skills: Strong knowledge of EHS laws, project management, and IT tools. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and climb ladders.

Capable of handling hazardous materials as needed.
