Pernini Legal, LLC is seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney for their Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources practice in Anchorage, AK. Candidates should have a JD from a top-tier law school, Bar admission in Alaska, and 2-5 years of relevant experience. ASSOCIATE - ENVIRONMENT, ENERGY & RESOURCESAnchorage, AK
Our client, a top AmLaw 50 international law firm, is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated mid-level Associate to join their Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources practice group in Anchorage, Alaska.
Candidate Profile:
• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Bar Admission in Alaska is required. Experienced attorneys who are in process of waiving in from another state and have connections and/or demonstrable interest in permanently relocating to Alaska will be considered.
• 2-5 years of relevant legal experience in energy, environmental, or natural resources issues.
• Judicial clerkship experience and/or demonstrated interest in environmental law is preferred.
• Strong legal writing skills with experience in law review/journal or prior clerkship.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide legal counsel on complex natural resources, environmental, and commercial issues for resource development companies.
• Collaborate with a nationwide team of attorneys in the firm's Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources practice group.
• Represent clients in sophisticated legal matters at both the local and national levels.
