Entry-Level Hydrology

Mead & Hunt is a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm seeking an entry-level hydrology & hydraulics engineer to join our collaborative water resources team.
Job Responsibilities
• Analyzing dam and hydropower facilities, water conveyance systems, levee systems, bridges/culverts, watersheds and floodplains;
• Construction document and cost development;
• Report writing, quality control reviews, client communication, and designing water resources and other civil engineering projects.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or closely related engineering field;
• Previous H&H, civil, or closely related engineering internship(s), or 1-2 years of relevant hydrology and hydraulics work experience;
• Experience with H&H modeling software (e.g., HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, HydroCAD) and spreadsheet and coding solutions for engineering applications;
• Experience working with teams to prepare products and deliverables on time;
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam or possess the Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
