Join Us as a EV Chassis Wiring Engineer!
We are seeking a motivated EV Chassis Wiring Engineer to join our team, which focuses on developing and implementing cutting-edge routing and clipping solutions for chassis harnesses in diesel and electric vehicles. This role offers the opportunity to work on the critical wiring systems that power and connect vehicle modules, ensuring durability and optimal performance over the vehicle's lifespan.
Responsibilities
• Design and route chassis wiring harnesses using 3D CAD software.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize wiring pathways for power, communication, and grounding systems in EV and diesel trucks.
• Develop durable wiring solutions to withstand the vehicle's operational lifecycle.
• Interpret and create CAD drawings to support harness routing and clipping processes.
• Apply innovative problem-solving to ensure efficiency and durability in wiring solutions.
• Engage in hands-on projects to refine and implement practical, real-world wiring applications.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science
OR
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and will obtain degree prior to first day of employment
Additional Requirements
• Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
Desired Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Interest in and enthusiasm for automotive systems and technologies.
• Experience or hobbies related to automotive repair, restoration, or engineering are highly valued.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical or electrical projects is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with CAD software packages is an advantage.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
