The role involves providing energy efficiency solutions, performing home energy assessments, and attending training sessions. Carolina Energy Conservation of Myrtle Beach, SC is currently hiring for a hard-working full-time entry-level Comfort Specialist Sales Rep to offer clients the best possible solutions for their energy efficiency and comfort needs. This energy sales position works a full-time schedule and has an earning potential of $70,000 - $100,000 for the first year and $100,000 - $150,000 the next year. ENTRY-LEVEL COMFORT SPECIALIST SALES REP REQUIREMENTS

In this entry-level Comfort Specialist Sales Rep role, you offer clients the best possible solutions for their energy efficiency and comfort needs. You perform home energy assessments and recommend appropriate attic and crawl space solutions to our clients. You explain the associated benefits honestly and accurately and then you offer solutions for any concerns - including financing options. From submitting job proposals and keeping track of customers and prospects to following up and attending sales training, you are always busy. You also regularly attend building science sessions to improve your industry knowledge as well as attend trade shows and conduct home energy seminars to develop more leads. You love using your skills to maximize our business and profitability!
• Ability to learn and maintain knowledge about the technical aspects of building science
• Ability to perform energy audits for homeowners
• Ability to quickly learn and follow the DR Energy Saver sales process
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the position such as lifting up to 40 lbs., climbing ladders, and crawling in hot attics and crawl spaces - this requires field work and you will get dirty!
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and other software
• Reliable transportation - able to drive to appointments in the Grand Strand, Wilmington, Charleston, and Sumter areas - our service area is about a 2 hour radius
• Business acumen
• Understanding of sales, marketing, and customer satisfaction theories and practices

Knowledge about construction and building science would be helpful, but we can train the right person! Are you positive, self-motivated, and results-oriented? Do you have excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information simply? Are you someone who is customer-focused and can build rapport easily? Can you speak persuasively to large groups of people? Are you diplomatic, resilient, and tactful? Do you have integrity and take personal accountability?
