Job Description

Sasaki Associates is seeking Entry Level Urban Designers for its Boston and Denver offices. Ideal candidates are recent graduates with a Master’s in Urban Design and 1-3 years of experience. Applicants should possess strong design skills, teamwork ability, and a passion for sustainable design. The role involves collaborating on diverse urban projects, engaging in all design phases, and producing high-quality graphics and models. The position offers a salary of $70K–80K annually and is full-time.
Urban Designer

We are looking for recently graduated Urban Designers with 1 - 3 years of experience to participate in a wide range of urban design and master planning projects across the US and internationally. Opportunities in both our Boston office and Denver locations.

Required Skills:
• Master’s degree in Urban Design with a background in Architecture, Landscape or Planning
• Ability to work enthusiastically in teams.
• Excellent design talent and graphic communication
• Be willing to contribute ideas with confidence and skill
• A passion for sustainable and resilient design
• Strong understanding of place making, urban form and building typologies
• Familiarity with current technology and ability to work across multiple platforms to produce work of exceptional quality

As an Urban Designer at Sasaki you will:
• Work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams consisting of planners, architects, landscape architects and urban designerd
• Get exposed to multiple scales and contexts including campuses, urban districts and neighborhoods, research and innovation clusters, etc.
• Engage in all aspects of the design process including analysis, conceptual ideas, design development and documentation
• Create 2d and 3d analytical and conceptual drawings, graphics, digital and physical models
• Be challenged and inspired to help create innovative 21st century places and environments
