Entry Level Solar Field Technician

Signal Energy is hiring an Entry Level Solar Field Technician in Wheatland, WY. This hands-on, field-based role involves various tasks related to solar field construction, such as installation and quality control of solar equipment. Candidates should be physically capable of lifting 50 pounds and working in outdoor conditions. A GED is preferred, and teamwork skills are essential. The position is full-time and requires experience in construction.
Position Summary:

This is a fieldbased handson position in which successful candidates contribute to the construction of a solar field. This position supports the mechanical scope.

Assists with the following:
• String Line
• Laser
• Pile Shakeout
• Pile Installation
• Pile Remediation
• Tracker Shakeout
• Slew Gear Installation
• Torque Tube Installation
• Drive Line Installation
• Motor Installation
• Huck & BOM
• MIB
• Damper
• Module Staging
• Module Installation
• Tracker QA/QC
• Module QA/QC
• SPC Controller

Skills/Abilities:
• Able to lift 50pounds
• Able to conduct repetitive actions such as stooping bending pushing pulling and reaching
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others including colleagues and supervisors
• Experience working on construction projects preferred
• This position requires working outdoors in various often extreme weather conditions including rain snow heat cold etc.
• Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions as safety permits.
• This position may also include exposure to loud noises dust debris and other constructionrelated hazards

Education:
• GED or equivalent education preferred
