Entry Level Solar Field Technician

Signal Energy is seeking an Entry Level Solar Field Technician in Indiana for a hands-on, field-based role. Responsibilities include assisting with various construction tasks related to solar field installation. Candidates should be able to lift over 50 pounds, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and possess teamwork skills. A GED or equivalent is preferred, and prior construction experience is a plus. This is a full-time position.
Position Summary:

This is a field-based, hands-on position in which successful candidates contribute to the construction of a solar field. This position supports the mechanical scope.

• Laser
• Pile Shakeout
• Pile Installation
• Pile Remediation
• Tracker Shakeout
• Slew Gear Installation
• Torque Tube Installation
• Drive Line Installation
• Motor Installation
• Huck & BOM
• MIB
• Damper
• Module Staging
• Module Installation
• Tracker QA/QC
• Module QA/QC
• SPC Controller

Skills/Abilities:
• Able to lift 50+ pounds
• Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
• Experience working on construction projects preferred
• This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
• This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards

Education:
• GED or equivalent education preferred
