Job Description
Energy Development Corporation is seeking an Engineer-Project Execution in the Philippines. The role involves preparing contract technical requirements and managing materials/services for upgrades, modifications, and maintenance of various engineering activities. Responsibilities include monitoring contractor performance and ensuring compliance with design and quality standards. Be a part of the EDC Team! ▪ Responsible for the preparation of the contract technical requirements and management of materials and services for major upgrade, modification, and/or maintenance of the Civil/Structural, Piping/Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation activities (outside the scope of the Facility O&M) and special projects (e.g., corrective works, Landslide Mitigation Measures (LMM), FCRS Hook Ups (CSPMEI), Building Facilities, Well Drilling, Testing and Operations Support Services. ▪ Monitors and manages the performance of contractors, and ensures contractor compliance to the approved design, specifications, standards and quality of workmanship as well as the necessary performance security, warranty security, permits and insurances as specified in the terms of the contract. In addition, the Company currently, directly and indirectly, owns and operates eleven geothermal power plants with a total installed capacity of 1,181 MW. EDC, through its indirect wholly owned subsidiary Green Core Geothermal, Inc., operates the 192.5MW Palinpinon and 112.5MW Tongonan geothermal power plants. Bacman Geothermal, Inc., another indirect wholly owned subsidiary of EDC, operates the 130MW Bacman geothermal power plant.
