The City of Whitefish, Montana is actively recruiting for an Engineering/Sustainability Project Manager who has a record of success and passion for public service to perform a variety of complex engineering work in the planning, administrative, operational, technical and management functions required to assist the Director in the management of a city-wide Public Works/Engineering Department. Coordinates staff involvement with the City’s Climate Action Plan committee and oversees City’s sustainability program.

Works with department directors and the City’s Climate Action Plan Standing Committee to implement the goals and program outlined in the City Climate Action Plan.

Minimum Requirements: The position requires graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in civil engineering or a closely related field; and a minimum of four years previous professional civil engineering experience including utility design, construction and operation, subdivision and road system design and construction. Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

The salary range is $75,587.20 - $97,718.40 annually plus an attractive benefits package. Likely starting pay is $75,587.20 - $80,204.80 depending on experience.
