Engineering Intern- Richmond

Assist in prototype equipment design and testing at TemperPack, a leader in sustainable packaging.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:
• Mechanical assembly of components with basic hand tools
• Functional check-out of prototype manufacturing equipment under guidance of Lead Engineers
• Data collection and processing during equipment trials
• Reading mechanical assembly drawings and instructions
• 3D CAD of mechanical parts
• Inspection and inventory of received or fabricated parts

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:
• Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Engineering or related field
• Passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
