Job Description

The Engineering Department at TemperPack is looking for an intern to assist in prototype equipment design, assembly, and testing this summer. Currently, TemperPack has multiple projects in-progress to improve manufacturing processes and equipment. "The focus of the internship this summer is to assist in validating the function and determining improvements for our new equipment."

Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Mechanical assembly of components with basic hand tools
• Functional check-out of prototype manufacturing equipment under guidance Lead Engineers
• Data collection and processing during equipment trials
• Reading mechanical assembly drawings and instructions
• 3D CAD of mechanical parts
• Inspection and inventory of received or fabricated parts

Basic Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Engineering or related field.
• Passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
