Intermediate Engineer Natural Forces Solar
Natural Forces Solar is a dynamic engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance company in the renewable energy sector. Based in Dartmouth, NS, Natural Forces Solar provides innovative, robust, and cost-effective renewable energy systems to clients across Canada.
The Intermediate Engineer will play a key role in designing, analyzing and implementing projects while collaborating across teams to ensure systems are efficient, cost-effective and compliant with regulations, combining technical expertise with growing project leadership and decision-making responsibilities. Lead and support technical design of solar PV and BESS systems, including energy yield assessments, equipment selection and layout optimization.
Collaborate, review and interpret technical studies such as load flow, short circuit and protection coordination
Support permitting and regulatory processes including preparation of technical documentation for submissions to utilities, regulators and stakeholders
Ensure alignment of project requirements and timelines with internal teams
Engage with external consultants, suppliers and contractors
Degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field
~ Registered Professional Engineer (P. 4-7 years of engineering experience in renewable energy, generation or system planning industries.
~ Experience working in designing utility-scale solar PV and/or battery energy storage projects
~ Must be bilingual (English/French)
