Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our Strategic Initiatives Special Studies team within Electric Transmission. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power systems engineering and experience with software packages such as PSCAD, RSCAD, and MATLAB.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct power system modeling and analysis, including load flow, dynamic, and small signal studies.
• Analyze and plan for significant increase in renewable energy on transmission and distribution systems.
• Develop and maintain complex models and simulations of power systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new technologies and processes.

Requirements
• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in power systems engineering, including experience with software packages such as PSCAD, RSCAD, and MATLAB.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
