Energy Storage Systems Technician

Role Summary:
TiptopJob seeks a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team and contribute to the successful operation of our BESS sites across the UK. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Operations Manager to ensure the smooth delivery of services and maintain high-quality Energy Storage Systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Your primary duties will include:
• Undertaking fault finding, diagnosis, and repair tasks.
• Carrying out regular inspections and maintenance on Energy Storage Systems.
• Performing annual capacity tests and troubleshooting as required.
• Implementing system software and firmware upgrades when necessary.
• Providing technical support and remote diagnostics to customers.
• Managing spare parts and vehicle inventory.

Requirements:
We require a qualified candidate with at least C&G2391 Inspection and Test / HNC level or above in an electrical/electro-mechanical discipline, along with at least 3 years' experience in multi-skilled maintenance or service capacities. A full UK driving licence is mandatory due to the nature of the role. Previous knowledge and experience of working on BESS sites will be beneficial, as well as a working knowledge of HV/LV power electronics, HVAC training, and F-Gas qualifications.
